Situated just 6 miles from Washington DC, Parklawn Memorial Park is located on the Veirs Mill Road in Rockville, Maryland. The cemetery has been around for decades but thanks to topnotch maintenance, the cemetery’s old age makes it even more beautiful. Oh, and while the cemetery is quite old, the cemetery’s management has kept up with times and thanks to their efforts, today Parklawn Memorial Park is counted among one of the most modern-looking cemeteries in the state. The cemetery has been divided into different sections. Some sections are for single and double headstone graves. Some of the sections are for graves with raised and flush bronze markers. And some of the sections are for families and larger memorials. Important note: It is not necessary to buy the memorial directly from the cemetery’s authorities. State law allows the people to buy a headstone or grave marker from any outside vendor of their choice. A big majority of people actually prefer to go with an outside vendor because it can get things done fast and without any mishaps.
